Guiding trips and Hiking/ Fishing Trips

We are offering different kind of guiding trips and hiking trips in the Skjolden area. Here is a small summary of our offers: Fuglesteg Experience one of the Norwegian bigest culture treasures. Fuglesteg is laying on a mountain rock approx 5 km from the centre of Skjolden. The mainbuilding on the farm is recently renovated of the Norwegian Tourist Association and is one of the real rare and few stonehouses in Norway built in two full floor plans. More info here >> Krekafossens brus (Krekafossens rushing sound) Experience the most dramatic and spectacular waterfalls in Skjolden. You will feel its rushing sound in you body and the power of the swift water passing you only few meters away. The foottrip starts at the parking lot in Mørkrid appr. 6 km from Skjolden. On the trip you will see the well known Drivande Waterfall, and studying the huge and majestetic view of the Gurosete waterfall. On the trip you will get time to take photos and hear the history from the surroundings. If time and if you want we will also show you a new discovered culture treasure. The house of The Willowweed man from the middle age there its stonewalls still is visible. It is not possible to see these thing when you are following the ordinary tourist path. All transport with car from Skjolden to Mørkrid (up to 8 passengers) are included. More info here >>   Fannaråkhytta (The Fannaraak Hut) The Fannaraak Hut is the Norways higest situated tourist cabin, 2068 m.o.s. Few peaks can compete the view from the top of Fannaraaken. From here (also called the roof of Norway) you can see the most of the Jotunheimen,  the Hurrungane peaks, the Smørstabb Glacier and peaks, and Jostedal Glacier. A sunrise in a 360 degrees view from here will be in your heart forever. We promize you a nature adventure during the trip you never will forget! More info here >>   Fishing trips (mountain trout)/  or Hiking to "The Heart of the Mørkrid Valley" On this guiding trip you will experience the most beatiful places in the Mørkrid Valley (some says in the country). You can chose a trip with or without fishing. Anyway you will get a trip you will remember for your rest of your life. You must use your own fishing equipment, but we will help you finding the most suitable equipment for the places we will try. The fishing license (for persons over 16 year) costs 100 NKr for three days. You will discover very idyllic places that you only have heard about in the folktales.
